Versi smarriti
il tenue sole accarezza
le piante, dolci sospiri,
la città rammenta il mio volto
come obliato pensiero del passato
attorniato da canti di dolore.
Ora volgo lo sguardo sulle strade
tinte dalla calura
s’avventa sulla stagione
immemore di versi smarriti,
taciuti nel pensiero della morte
lento mutare di specchi
di vita fatale.
Ora, la madre mia ripensa
al volto del suo infante
che irruppe come propizio
avvento,
un trasalire di anime
osserva il mio cuore districarsi
tra fanciulle incuranti
della mia poesia
obliato dai loro cuori

Lost Verses
the soft sun caresses
the plants, sweet sighs,
the city remembers my face
as a forgotten thought of the past
Surrounded by songs of pain.
Now I look at the streets
dyed by the heat
He’s on the season
I forgetful of lost verses,
Silence in the thought of death
Slow Change of Mirrors
of fatal life.
Now, my mother thinks again
the face of his infant
which burst in as propitious
Advent,
a startling of souls
Watching my heart unravel
Among careless girls
